CyberPower UPS accredited the 1st Energy Efficiency Certification of California Energy Commission in the World!
On 18th of February 2013, CyberPower is the first product manufacturer in the world obtains UL Leaf Mark and Energy Efficiency Certification of Uninterruptible Power Supply fulfilling Appliance Efficiency Regulations, California Energy Commission (CEC). CyberPower, the world leading solution provider in power management, has again demonstrated its unsurpassed capabilities in energy efficiency and Green IT leadership.

The CEC was established with the aims of promoting energy efficiency and conservation, forecasting future energy needs, and developing renewable energy resources and alternative energy technologies for all private and public sectors. The CEC adopted Appliance Energy Efficiency Standards which defines the minimum efficiency and maximum standby power for power supplies. Products been certified by this standard
are claimed to demonstrate adequate energy efficiency performance as well as compliance with government requirements. With CyberPower’s UPS products receiving the world’s first recognition of CEC standards, this has been another dominant breakthrough of our continuous devotion in green management and again proves our outstanding engineering excellence in energy-efficient power solution.

Up until today, CyberPower has been active in pursuing energy efficiency throughout the enterprise with multiple Green practices adopted, including compliance with Restriction on Hazardous Substances (RoHS) and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), certification in ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems and IECQ QC 080000 HSPM Hazardous Substance Process Management, qualifications of ENERGY STAR®, patented energy-saving GreenPower UPS™ Technology, and other ongoing “Greening” of all practices to ensure the maximum contribution to the environment.
